New York Rush Soccer Club

New York Rush Soccer Club and Shrub Oak Athletic Club are delighted to announce an affiliation which will begin immediately. The agreement will see Shrub Oak Athletic Club benefitting from NY Rush and Rush Soccer Member status, which includes a College Advisory Program (C.A.P), Player Loan Program, Rush Regional and National select team opportunities, plus a shared training curriculum.
SOAC Director of Coaching, Luigi Muccitelli stated "This affiliation will afford us the opportunity to introduce the Rush philosophy of coach and player education to our members and further opportunities to reach a wider group of players, coaches and parents. From this arrangement, we expect both clubs to retain their individual identities, whilst offering additional activities for those players and coaches who seek out extra training, education and competition to help with their development."
The NY Rush program will be offering camps, ability appropriate clinics, coaching education and classroom sessions throughout the year and we are hopeful that the support on offer will allow both clubs to offer a consistent and evolving program for the foreseeable future. The coaches and administrators of both clubs share similar visions and ideas on player development and with new coach and player training modules, all of the SOAC members will have incredibly strong and focused developmental initiatives designed to enhance their overall soccer experience.
"New York Rush is very happy to welcome Shrub Oak Athletic Club to our growing family in NY, and I'm personally looking forward to working with their coaches and building a comprehensive curriculum that will help their staff and players grow and flourish in a program that truly puts the interests of the children first" said NY Rush Technical Director, Steve Davis.
